“Hollywood Jane” is the online alter-ego of L.A. native Megan Christopher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in creative writing from the University of California, Riverside and a Master’s degree in professional writing from the University of Southern California. She has written for online publications Starpulse and Scribophile, and during her tenure at USC, she was on staff at the USC College Magazine.
In addition to writing, she enjoys acting and has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1998. She wrote, co-produced, performed in, and edited a Web series, Quest for Comic-Con, that premiered on YouTube in 2009 and is based on her life as a geek. She has been an active member of the Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN) since 2007, and is on the committee for the 2011 Asexuality Awareness Week.
She was born, raised, and still lives in West Hollywood with her German shepherd, Pilot, named for one of the puppets on Farscape.
