Inside the Writers Room – Pushing Daisies

The Paley Center for Media was aglow once again last night, to pay tribute to those unsung heroes of television – the writers.  Following panels with the staff from Family Guy and The Office, the Paley center ended its ‘Inside the Writers Room’ series with the most original show currently on television – Pushing Daisies. In the lobby before the seminar, surrounded by color photographs from the new season of…

It's a Brand New Day

Anyone who’s anyone in Los Angeles spent Halloween in a dinky movie theater on the corner of Fairfax and Beverly, watching the charity screening of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog and The Guild.  The line ran all the way down the block and around the corner – fortunately Vlada, Irina, and I were there on the early side.  Unfortunately, Whedonopolis, the group that puts on Whedon-related events, is not known for…

My Evening With David Sedaris

A year and a half ago, David Sedaris came to Riverside.  After an evening of searching for dingos, diary entries from Japan, and an answer to the universal question – are zombies Republicans or Democrats – I waited in line with a hundred of my closest friends for five seconds of face time with the man himself. Blogging Via iPhone

So this is Round II, cellphone-wise. I can say that I am much more in love with Chuck the Second than I was with Chuck the First. I’m still getting the hang of the keyboard, but the autocorrect is doing a great job of catching my mistakes as I write from the backseat of my father’s hybrid. I’m somewhat behind blogging-wise. A few things have happened the last few days…

Posting Via BlackBerry

Another annoying thing about the BlackBerry? The internet pages show up weird, so if you want to look at anything more complicated than Google, you have to decipher the way the page gets squished onto the small screen. So I’m switching to the iPhone, and by necessity, AT&T. I’ve never really had any problems with Verizon, but they don’t have the iPhone, so… In other, more interesting news, Vlada and I…
